Fade to Black

My rage enfolded upon lazy morning
Taking with it the sound of my dignity.
A shrieking Hell, that burned
Inside my heart
Our names were carved in bridges
And though there was only one meaning
It meant the very love I gave
Became her undying misery.
Angered Spirits
Behind locked doors
They call me to free them
But I am weakened
From bleeding on the inside
My veins bleed nothing but lies and afflictions
Of a time long since gone.
The sun in my sky . . . .
But not my whole world.
A game of drama and mystique
Though the ends slowly came unfurled.
Now kill me quickly
But don't let me die
Your darkness enfolds me
And your evil eyes blind
With gloom now, thus and so clouded
Scattered thoughts inside my head
A sordid absence
That now fades to black.
